Today is Mommy Ruby‘s Princess Bella’s 2nd birthday and tomorrow is my Princess Max’s 3rd. Because we have been so blessed this year, from having the best of friends to our successful online opportunities and endeavors, we decided to hold this Birthday Thanksgiving Giveaway for our little princesses.

This is a multi-blog giveaway sponsored by 38 wonderful blogs. You have 114 chances to be a winner of at least $30 through paypal. Total prize is $380. There will be 2 winners of $30 each, 2 winners of $60 each and 2 winners of $100 each. Anyone from around the world, or even Mars, can join as long as they have a Paypal account during or immediately after the giveaway event. There is Money in Blogging

When I gave up everything for my pregnancy in 2008, I didn’t know that my affair with the internet would get me this far. Being alone in the house 5 days a week, thinking of everything about my pregnancy made me depend on the internet for a lot of research. I didn’t follow ALL of them, mind you, but I did meet a lot of interesting people along the way.

The first group I met were a group of moms (and 1 dad) who were very active in a parenting site. After having the chance to meet with them after 2 months, I got close to one of the moms, Nicquee of nicquee.com and it was from her that I learned about blogging.

We both started out almost at the same time but she taught me the basics, where to sign up for free accounts, templates, html rules, troubleshooting etc. Months passed and I got used to making my blog as my diary when she mentioned that it was possible to make money blogging. Slowly she taught me leads on sites where we can earn a little extra for ourselves until eventually we both tried to make our blogs better to get more opportunities.

At this time, I don’t think I can say I earn a lot. But the point is, I do earn… from home and that’s while I’m looking after my little girl. I’m really thankful I got into blogging because aside from earning, it’s also an avenue for me to share my thoughts, post my rants or raves and most especially, it’s where I met the coolest people in the world, my mommy network.

I am participating in a blogger campaign by Bucks2Blog and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.
