When it’s summer, we should wear summer clothes. When it’s not summer, as in our case, rainy or just plain chilly, we should wear the right clothes too. Problem is even when it’s the monsoon season, or the “Christmas” season as we call it, it’s still very hot and humid during the day that sometimes dressing up for the night chill just seems inappropriate.
This particular dilemma in our weather is why I’m trying to search for childrens waterproofs sets online. Even though I can’t let the little one dress for the chilly nights by having her wear thick clothes during the humid day, I’d like to make sure that she has a waterproof jacket with her at all times just in case it becomes really cold, or worse if it rains.
You see, typhoons here are kind of… crazy. A storm signal will be given out by the government but the typhoon doesn’t come when it’s supposed to. It always likes to take people by surprise which is why rain gear should always be handy, at all times from the month of May onwards.
So even though we can’t really dress up for the weather per se (unless it’s summer), the most that we can do is have everything handy. I always store clothes and rain gear in the car just in case, but I’m still on the look out for the waterproof ones.
