Almost everyone I know is now into selling something. Be it something original or reselling something for a small profit, everyone wants to earn even just a little on the side especially because of the coming holidays.
Being a stay-at-home doesn’t exempt us from trying to sell online too. Gone are the days when we try to approach our neighbors to buy some of our stuff. Because of today’s technology, one would have more luck selling online than any other means. The old “garage sale” we used to do are now done online and they are being sold as “pre-loved” items. The term “reseller” seems to be more common now than that “dealers” that we were used to.
Because this seems to be working for a lot of people, I too am entertaining the idea of selling some goods online. Paperwork and technicalities aside, I think it would be an advantage for me since I have some credits on eCommerce. A couple (or more) of years ago, I took up classes on website creation, 3D animation and basic eCommerce. Now is probably the time to put them in good use and I will be hitting two birds with one stone by earning as well as honing my skills.
So, what do you think? Do you think it is indeed time to sell online? Do you think it would be advisable to try it out now and take advantage of the upcoming holidays?
I am participating in a blog campaign for Bucks2Blog for an ecommerce solution company and was compensated. However, the views and opinions are my own.

Yes you are right. People just to purposely sell something online for fun or for hobby. Some very success and turn in to full time.
It is a good time to start selling online. However, I recommend people start on Amazon or eBay. That will offload much of the mechanical work of running an ecommerce business (creating the website, advertising so people find your store on the web, etc.), and let you spend your time finding products that meet unfilled needs.
