I met up with a couple of moms yesterday. These were the moms that I met online through a baby/parenting site. We’ve been interacting with each other ever since although everything is through text messages or online.
Yesterday, it was good to see them again. I’ll be honest and say it wasn’t as fun as the first time we all met. Back then we were excited to just get to know each other and our little babies. Maybe because the group has grown and there were more moms who joined. Or maybe because the anxiousness to finally meet someone you’ve never met before was gone. Or maybe, since the group has grown bigger, there were groups within the group.
Oh well, although I said it wasn’t as fun as before, it doesn’t mean I didn’t enjoy myself. I still did, we still did. I still got to meet new moms who I know will turn out to be some of my closest friends.
